Puppy Bronti

The reason for creating Adogables by Bronti is a simple one. From 1991 to 2005 I was the proud owner of a Bouvier de Flanders (Belgium Sheep Dog), named Bronti. Her name came about while she was still a twinkle in her doggie parent's eyes. A few years prior to my puppy coming into my life there was a movie out by the name of "Green Card". In this movie actress, Andie MacDowell's character was named, Bronte. This was actually the family name of the Bronte sisters Ann, Charlotte and Emily who were writers in the mid to late 1800's. Having a name like Bronte was going to be a bit unusual and I took it a step further by changing the spelling of her name to Bronti. In my mind this name was going to be perfect for the next dog I was going to be lucky enough to share my life with. As it turned out this name was more than ideal. It fit her personality perfectly.

Bronti and I had a good life together even though she was not the healthiest of dogs. I became a devoted loving pet owner and she was the princess taking it all in. Being able to memorialize Bronti by naming my business after her keeps her in my life and my heart. Since I love animals so much I thought, "what better way to express this affection then to start a business creating beautiful, practical, fun and everlasting heirlooms to be enjoyed by both pet and owner."

In December, 2006 I adopted a shelter dog. She is a two year old dalmatian lab mix named, Sofie Rose. You can view her adogable face on her very own toy box. Sofie is quite the character. She is a very energetic young lady who keeps me laughing and running all day long. There is no hug long enough to keep this pooch satisfied. I find myself smiling again.

For all of you pet lovers out there who have lost a precious furry friend. Time will heal a broken heart to make room for another to love. But, you will never forget the one you lost and that's okay.
